According To Dawn News Retail outlets are still selling CNG at an average price of Rs48.80 per kg despite correction by the government of an erroneous announcement about price increase.The CNG Association believes that the situation has been created to deprive people of the cheap fuel. The association finds it technically impossible to ensure uniform CNG retail prices, as desired by the federal cabinet, because of varying input costs and heating value of natural gas which differs from field to field and province to province.

( The News ) The PTCL employees staged a demonstration here on Wednesday against the unified pay scale being introduced by the PTCL administration. The protesting employees also locked the offices of the PTCL. They were demanding the arrest of policemen involved in torture of their fellow colleagues in Islamabad and Larkana. They warned to paralyse the telephone system throughout the country in the next 24 hours in case the unified pay scale system was not reversed. Central Chairman PTCL Action Committee Haji Khan Bhatti in this regard, led the rally from the Telegraph Office to the Divisional Office PTCL. Addressing the rally, he said the PTCL administration was issuing offer letter of jobs on contract basis to permanent employees under the unified pay scale, which had been rejected by the employees.
